CAREER TO DATE

Starting out in a pair of overalls as an apprentice Car Mechanic, Simon decided to change his work attire to wearing a suit and began his career in the insurance industry, working for a specialist Legal Expenses insurance company.

After working within the industry for a few years, Simon decided to take the plunge and challenge himself, working for a large brewery. However, he couldn't keep away for long as he then came back to insurance, working for a number of specialist brokers in the Motor Trade and Corporate sectors, before joining Specialist Risk in 2023.

OUT OF THE OFFICE

You will often see Simon at various motorsport events around the UK, looking after his clients who are actively involved in this exciting sporting arena. When he's not doing that, Simon continues to keep in shape and whilst he may not be running full marathons any more - having accomplished London, New York and Las Vegas in the past - he enjoys walking and keeping fit.

Simon is married to his wife Lyudmyla, whom he met when on holiday in Spain and now spends part of his time living and working in Spain. Simon and his wife enjoy nothing more than having the odd cold beer and tapas, whilst watching the sun set on the beach near to where they live.
